Christopher W. Rumbold became a Fellow of American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and was appointed Chair of the Family Law Section, of The Florida Bar.  There are approximately 70 Fellows in the State of Florida and approximately 1500 Fellows nationwide.  Fellows meet the highest standards for practice and professionalism and improve the quality of family law throughout the country.  Board Certified in Marital & Family Law by the Board of Legal Specialization and Education of The Florida Bar, Mr. Rumbold is an Expert is his area of specialization.  There are approximately 275 attorneys Board Certified in Marital & Family Law in the State of Florida. Mr. Rumbold is also a Florida Supreme Court Certified Family Law Mediator.  He earned an “AV preeminent” rating (2015-2024) by Martindale-Hubbell (10% of attorneys).  Mr. Rumbold has been nominated to, and selected for inclusion by, Super Lawyers for 2011-2012, 2013-2024 (5% of attorneys statewide).

Christopher W. Rumbold was appointed as Chair-Elect of the Family Law Section of The Florida Bar.  The Executive Committee consists of 5 members who oversee the daily business the Section and its 4,000 members, working in tandem with its Executive Council.  He earned an “AV preeminent” rating (2015-2023) by Martindale-Hubbell (10% of attorneys).  Mr. Rumbold has been nominated to, and selected for inclusion by, Super Lawyers for 2011-2012, 2013-2023 (5% of attorneys statewide).  Board Certified in Marital & Family Law by the Board of Legal Specialization and Education of The Florida Bar, Mr. Rumbold is an Expert is his area of specialization.  There are approximately 275 attorneys Board Certified in Marital & Family Law in the State of Florida. Christopher W. Rumbold was appointed as Chair of the Family Law Section’s Nomenclature Committee and Alimony Rapid Response Group, within the Legislation Committee.  He is a member of the Family Law Section’s Executive Committee, currently serving as Secretary, for which he was nominated and certified by the Family Law Section of the Florida Bar.  He earned an “AV preeminent” rating (2015-2021) by Martindale-Hubbell (10% of attorneys).  Mr. Rumbold has been nominated to, and selected for inclusion by, Super Lawyers for 2011-2012, 2013- 2021 (5% of attorneys statewide).  He co-presented the Family Law Section, Continuing Legal Education Webinar, “Cohabitation Agreements: Creating Contractual Relationships Outside of Marriage.” He regularly presents, publishes and testifies on marital and family law issues.
